Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings
Dirty varnish; frame rubbing; slight warp to the panel; 1 1/2 inch area of repair to an old split in the burl at the lower left corner at the edge, with scattered inpainting in the lower left corner; small spot of inpainting at center right and left center edge; few spots of inpainting in the center; there may be some restoration in the trees at center left; difficult to detect further restoration through the varnish under UV light.
