Italian Grand Tour Patinated Bronze Rhyton Vase
In the manner of Benedetto Boschetti, 19th Century
Unsigned, composed of a griffin forming a vase cast with classical figures, on a scroll of acanthus leaves, with a hexagonal Verde Antico marble base; previously wired as a lamp, drilled for electricity.
Height 12 1/4 inches (31.1 cm), width 12 inches (30.5 cm), depth 6 inches (15.2 cm)
After an antique rhyton located in the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Rome.
