Of rectangular form, applied with hinged lid enameled in colors with an elegant 18th Century scene depicting male and female figures, wearing contemporary dresses and standing in a formal garden reserved on a foliate scrolled ground, the underside incised with scrolling foliage, the waisted sides cast with similarly foliate scrolls.
