Comprising two covered sauce tureens and underplates, two plates and one shrimp dish, seven pieces total, each piece decorated with alternating reserves of dragons and foliage, some with chrysanthemum center.

The ornamental design on this particular service is commonly referred to as the 'Kylin', 'Bengal Tiger', and 'Dragon and Compartments' pattern. Originating from a Chinese famille verte design dating back to the early 18th century Kangxi period, it gained significant popularity and was subsequently replicated by English factories such as Worcester, Coalport and Spode.
