The case decorated with gilt chinoiserie designs reserved on a green ground, the dial applied with Rococo cherub spandrels, signed on a plaque J AS Smith London , matted centre with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with seconds dial and pierced hands, strike/silent dial in the arch, the movement inside with count wheel striking on a bell, with pendulum.
