Louis XVI Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Lacquer, Ebonized, Amaranth and Satinwood Inlaid Commode a L'Anglaise
The demi-lune grey-veined white marble top above a stylized pierced gilt-bronze mounted frieze, with two lacquer doors flanked on either side by three marble shelves applied with pierced brass galleries, the corners at either side applied with soldier masks.

Overall wear commensurate with age and use, with previous restorations, lacquer panels with cracks and losses, mirrored panels with oxidation to the silvering, one gallery at proper left side with minor damage, lifting, chips, losses and replacements to veneers, top under the marble with shrinkage cracks all consistent with age and use, marble top with large chip at front proper left side.
