The gilt-bronze 4 1/4 inch relief dial with pierced circular center and white enamel cartouche Arabic numerals. Brequet hands, countwheel striking anchor movement with silk suspended pendulum, finely cast and chiseled gilt-bronze case flanked by fruit and flower-filled cornucopias and allover cast with acanthus leaves, the top applied by a mask of Chronos with sunburst radiating from his head and flanked by two swans heads holding a fruit and flower garland, all raised on a stepped rectangular base cast with leaf-tip borders and applied with mounts of winged putti and laurel wreaths, with pendulum.
Height 20 1/2 inches (52 cm), width 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), depth 5 1/4 inches (13.4 cm).
