Group of Four Sèvres Bombelle Cups and Saucers
Last quarter 18th century
The cups and saucers with blue interlaced LS marks enclosing date letters JJ, KK and PP, painters marks mb for Bunel and others, with various incised marks.
Each painted with medallions enclosing a sprig of roses and cornflowers flanked by small flowers within a blue ground and gilt border, the reserve with suspended barbed flower heads.
Height of cup 2 inches (6 cm), diameter of saucer 4 3/4 inches (12.3 cm)
