ROOSEVELT, THEODORE Typed letter signed.
New York: 22 June 1910. A single-page typed letter on a sheet of Roosevelt's the Outlook stationery, signed in ink "Theodore Roosevelt," the letter addressed to Mr. A. T. Clearwater of the Holland Society of New York. 8 x 6 1/2 inches (20 x 16cm). Usual fold and a few minor handling creases, otherwise with dark ink and type, offered with a letter from Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. to the same recipient.

Roosevelt here reports to Judge Alphonse T. Clearwater of Kingston that he is unable to attend an event and laments at length about the "multitude of requests" he has for speaking engagements "unless I absolutely abandoned the all thought of doing anything else of any kind or sort..."
