Includes William Roscoe on Lorenzo de Medici, 1799, two volumes in full vellum; La Fontaine, Tales and Novels, 1883, 4 volumes, full red morocco with blue doublures by Rousselle, neatly rebacked; Filson Young on Christopher Columbus, 1906, two volumes in three-quarters blue morocco; Macaulay's Life and Letters, 1877, two volumes, full white vellum; Bartlett's Familiar Quotations, full blue morocco; and others similar. Some wear, nicked headcaps etc., occasional restorations, most with the book label of William Safire.
