Additional Notes & Condition Report

A few light stains in the sky. A small accretion is present in one of the sails. Isolated areas of craquelure in the waves. There are three spots each approximately 1/4 inch in size clustered together at the center top edge which fluoresce under UV light.

A plate affixed to the frame identifies the ships as LIGHTNING and RED JACKET, two of the fastest clippers of their day.
