George IV Mahogany, Ebony-Inlaid and Part-Ebonized Center Table
First quarter 19th century
The circular top with flame-veneered crossbanded border above a molded frieze with four roundel-mounted panels and tilting above a flaring square pedestal with foliate-carved corners on a quadripartite plinth with scroll-carved feet. Height 30 inches (76.2 cm), diameter 62 1/2 inches (158.8 cm).

Good restored condition, good quality, veneered on mahogany, sunfaded throughout, top of block to pedestal lacking brass fitments for spring-loaded lock, age cracks to veneers of plinth sides; does not appear to have had casters.
