Russian Biscuit Porcelain Figure of a Dancing Peasant Man
Probably Gardner Manufactory, Verbilki, late 19th century
Modeled dancing, wearing a grey tunic, red gloves and lapti, holding a blue cap above his head, on a circular naturalistic base, unmarked. Height 8 inches (20.3 cm).

A comparable model by the Gardner Manufactory is illustrated in Gardner: XVIII - XIX: Porcelain Plastic Arts from Private Collections & Moscow Museums (Moscow, 2002), p. 124.
