One with gold lacquer and inlaid mother-of-pearl fruiting stems on a black ground, four section, with boxwood mushroom-form netsuke; the other a bronze two section with metal overlay and character inscription, jade netsuke. Height of taller 3 inches.

lacquer-lacquer wear at corners and on interior, losses where cord enters, surface scratches and sticker residue, netsuke in good condition
