Russian Silver Icon of the Gerbovetskaya Mother of God
Kuzma Konov, Moscow, 1908-1917
Rectangular, portrayed frontal, the Mother of God holding the Christ Child, each with repoussé and chased vestments. 5 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches (13.3 x 11.4 cm). Together with a Russian Silver Pendant Icon of St. Seraphim of Sarov, indistinctly marked, 1899-1908.
