Jean Merault a Paris, mid 18th century
Depicting Europa and the bull, the circular enamel dial and movement within a drum-shaped case surmounted by europa and the bull, on foliate scrolling rockwork base, stamped Emmanuel. Height 18 3/4 inches (47.5 cm).

Good model, well cast.
Dial with minor chips to edges and around winding holes.
Some elements lack on case.
Movement appears intact, however we do not guarantee working order.
Old repair to hand of Europa, she is also lacking an element.
Case with wear, marks, scratches and surface abrasions.
Later screws.
