Beautiful quality, carving and mahogany, not able to examine rails, age cracks and replacements to veneers of both backs, shoes are loose, rubbing to handholds, chips and losses to carvings, scratches and scuffs to feet; chair I with repaired break to top left of splat and now with later veneer facing, age cracks to back of splat, age cracks to shoe, front right leg appears to have been glued at a later date, worming; chair II with repaired break to left stile and now with patches to top at junction with top rail and at junction of armrest also with patches, repaired break to backing of left front leg.
