Cast by Barbedienne after the model by Pierre Tourgueneff, late 19th/early 20th century
Realistically cast as a Hussar in military uniform with fur hat, on horseback, on a rectangular naturalistic base, signed on base P. Tourgueneff and stamped with F. Barbedienne foundry mark. Height 24 inches (61 cm), length 18 3/4 (47.6 cm).
