A one-year run (twelve issues) of this unusual French fashion journal, illustrated with approximately one hundred and fifty pochoir plates on thin, almost vellum-like Chinese paper, plus in-text pochoirs. Bound in what appear to be the publisher's half mottled leather over marbled paper boards, red morocco title label lettered in gilt, gilt tooling to spine. The covers for the individual issues are not present, possibly as issued for this "retrospective" collection. Binding heavily worn, with hinges split and front free endpaper detached, general edgewear; plates generally in fine condition aside from toning consistent with age.
