Some soiling and wear, losses to paper at spine, joints cracked, contents with intermittent spotting and light toning, a stain in upper margin throughout the text, a sound and complete copy.
An uncommon and early text on gun safety. Sir Thomas Frankland (1750-1831) warns sportsmen about the dangers of using double-barreled flintlock shotguns, which had only recently been imported from France, and advises his readers on how best to avoid gun-related accidents. Riling 330; Chute 220; Schwerdt 1380 (the first edition).
