Provenance:

Shade: approximately three of the small circular glass segments at the uppermost ring band have hairline cracks; none of the larger circular glass segments at the bottom ring band appear to have hairline cracks; approximately five of the small geometric brick segments at the bottom rim of the shade have hairline cracks; none of the large central glass segments that comprise the three inners rows of geometric segments appear to have hairline cracks; approximately nine of the small glass segments that surround the large circular segments at the lower border have hairline cracks;; shade is slightly 'out of round' (slightly pushed in at one end)
Base: there are three light sockets; sockets appear to have some age; all three sockets have on/off switches with paddles marked 'Arrow;' the lamp is currently wired, however, the switches, sockets and wiring were not tested; the lamp has a mottled green and rust-colored patina; the patina has a uniform dulled appearance (would benefit from a possible cleaning and waxing); the heat cap may or may not be an original Tiffany Studios heat cap; the heat cap has a replaced (later) screw to adhere it to the ring mount at the top of the standard, however, it does not fit and the cap does not fit properly onto the shade

Auction: Doyle+Design, Jun 24, 2025
NEW YORK, NY -- On June 24, 2025, Doyle hosted a sale in the popular Doyle+Design auction category that saw strong results for a wide range of Modern and Contemporary furniture, art and design by prominent designers, makers and artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Art
Highlighting the sale was Vase of Flowers Series X, a vibrant, large-scale painting from 2000 by Peter Max (1937-2023) that soared to $28,800, more than double its $8,000-12,000 estimate. The dynamic composition featured the artist's signature palette of psychedelic hues and energetic brushstrokes. Another standout by Max, Umbrella Man, also performed exceptionally well, realizing $16,640, more than triple its $3,000-5,000 estimate.
Design
The selection of works by Tiffany Studios featured two circa 1915 bronze and leaded glass table lamps that garnered strong results -- a ‘Colonial Faux-Jeweled Band’ table lamp sold for $16,640 and a 'Feather' table lamp realized $15,360, both outperforming their $8,000-12,000 estimates. Art pottery featured a circa 1975-85 glazed and incised earthenware vessel by Claude Conover titled Balinah estimated at $6,000-8,000 that sold for $10,880.
