VAN BUREN, MARTIN
Group of thirteen New York Supreme Court documents.
Albany: October & August 1817. Each a partly printed form accomplished in manuscript and bearing signatures to docketting, of these seven are authentically signed by Van Buren and six are signed in a similar hand but possibly secretarial (this unconfirmed). Each about 12 3/4 x 8 inches (32 x 20 cm), a few extended adding paper to allow further room for manuscript notes. Usual folds with a few short splits and one longer split, two slightly misfolded, the lot sold as is.
An interesting group of legal papers from Van Buren's time as the first Attorney General of New York.
