The domical shade decorated with two rows of mottled yellow colored stylized daisy-like blossoms with orange centers, mottled green and opalescent meandering stems, and leaves, against a mottled green and opalescent ground, supported by a ribbed flower-form cushion base with ball feet, shade with tag impressed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK, base impressed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 28616 and T.G.D.CO. Height 18 inches; height of shade 6 1/4 inches, diameter 16 inches.

Height 18 inches; height of shade 6 1/4 inches, diameter 16 inches.

Shade: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; shade appears to be "in the round;" there is no immediately observable indication of repair or replacement to any of the individual glass segments; shade is nice and tight; there are a few individual glass segments that have tight hairline cracks (not too many), commensurate with age, use and handling, not of any consequence

Base: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; the lamp is fitted with three light sockets; the light sockets are fitted with two G.E.Co. and one BRYANT on/off paddle switches; the lamp is currently wired, however, the light sockets, paddle switches and cord were not tested; the three light sockets appear to be old and may be original or may be later replacements; the base has a uniform chocolate brown patina; there is dirt/soil deposit in the crevices, commensurate with age; pierced metal heat cap is missing

This highly-anticipated sale showcases a wide range of Modern and Contemporary furniture and design by prominent designers and makers of the 20th and 21st centuries. Featured in the sale will be furniture by Peter Marino, Jean-Michel Frank, Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and Eugene Printz, as well as ceramics by Hans Coper and Lucie Rie, from the Estate of Hedda Kleinfeld Schachter, founder of the legendary bridal salon, Kleinfeld's (Read More).

Part I of the popular Doyle+Design auction on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10am will offer Modern and Contemporary artwork spanning the 20th century to the present day (Read More).
