Slave bill of sale. Wilcox County, Alabama: March 12, 1824. Single sheet, 7 1/2 x 6 1/8 inches (19 x 16 cm). Recto with a list of seven slaves and their values, together with (on the verso) farm supplies to the value of $60, witnessed by the various signatories. Matted with image and plaque, displaying both sides of document. Slight browning, but in good condition, not examined out of frame.
