Interesting American autograph collection. Loose leaves in notebook, (compiled circa 1900). 6 ff., with autographs and letters mounted to both sides of the sheet. These include cut signatures by Andrew Jackson; James Monroe; John Quincy Adams (two cut autographs and an envelope sheet signed); William T. Sherman; J. C. Calhoun; an 1849 Millard Fillmore letter; two William T. McLellan autograph letters signed; a franked envelope from James Madison to Dr. Thomas P. Jones; and a quantity of other interesting American autographs and letters. Most items tipped-in at the top edge with adhesive to the sheet.
The McLellan letters are dated 1877; the Fillmore letter is a response to a request for a favor.
