Charcoal, pen, ink, and gouache on paper, signed "Whitney Darrow, Jr." l.r.,, the drawing 12 1/4 x 10 inches (25.5 x 31 cm) on larger sheet, the verso with Darrow's Wilton Connecticut stamp and a New Yorker copyright notice affixed with tape. Lightstain to the exposed surface of the drawing, scuffing from marginal erasures, pencil reduction marks, some finger-soiling etc..
The date comes from a written annotation on the original printed cartoon mounted to the verso of the frame.
