LoMonaco's portfolio in halftone color reproduced the poster for the March on the cover, and was sold in Washington on the day of the March. It is uncommon, and is one of the great graphic commemorations of the 1963 March on Washington. It is offered here with the materials issued to a Newark participant in the March, including the coupon for the train ticket and travel instructions; marcher instructions; and the final instruction manual for participants, signed in type by Cleveland Robinson and Bayard Rustin. As an ensemble, these materials are rare, and provide a vivid insight into the experience of a marcher at this epochal event.
