Paris: Éditions Cercle d'Art, 1962. Copy 81 from an edition of 125 (plus 25 hors-commerce copies). The original signed lithograph housed together with the text in the publisher's color pictorial cloth chemise and folding box, with the separate additional folder of 12 reproductions. The text and illustrations 14 1/2 x 10 5/8 inches (37 x 27 cm); 36 pp., 165 plates, [4] pp. list of plates and colophon; the lithograph in black on wove paper, signed lower right in pencil, with full margins, 27.2 x 36.8 cm; these accompanied by 12 unfolded sheets with reproductions in color, 21 x 14 1/2 inches (54 x 37 cm). Occasional mild toning to text, light soiling to box, about fine overall.

Quite scarce complete with the separate portfolio and the signed lithograph. The plates are based on Edouard Manet's painting, interpreted by Picasso in this series of drawings. Cramer 118; Monod 9085; Mourlot 352.
