The service appears to be in overall good condition. There is some light scratching to the plate surfaces. Three plates have spot discoloration near the center edges, probably losses to the gilding. Two of the smallest cordials have minor damages; each has a split to the stem, one just beneath the bowl causing the bowl to tilt slightly , the other glass similarly tilting, with a split extending nearly 360 degrees, otherwise all of the stemware appears to be in good condition. One of the knife rests is missing its coat of arms shield. One of the double salt cellars is missing one of its glass liners; one glass liner has a small chip to its rim, otherwise they all appear to be in good condition. There are at least two different maker's marks on the blades of the knives, there is also rusting to the majority of the knife blades. All of the other flatware pieces appear to be in good conditionSome wear to gildingCenter Piece:there is somedamage to the upper stem portion, ie., there is at least one small branch that has been broken (now missing). Along the lower portion there is one small wire lacking an applied acorn ornament; higher up the tree trunk there is a small oak leaf that is missing its tip. There are two small drill holes near the outer edge of the domed foot , on the opposite sides suggesting perhaps there were originally wire ornaments emanating from these locations. Some black spotting / discoloration to top sides of foot;wear to gilding; light scratching to interior of glass liner.
