[THE BEATLES]
BRIAN EPSTEIN (1934-1967). A Cellarful of Noise.
London: Souvenir Press, [1964]. First printing, inscribed on the front blank: "To Al, All the best, Brian." Publisher's cloth, in original pictorial dust jacket. 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15 cm); 132 pp., illustrations after photographs. Creases to extremities and a small loss at head of jacket spine, not touching the lettering, small stain to rear endpaper.

Provenance: the estate of rock journalist Al Aronowitz

Scarce inscribed, as Epstein died in 1967, this autobiography was apparently ghostwritten by his assistant Derek Taylor. The book is valuable for recording Epstein's recollections of the early years of The Beatles.
