Frame rubbing. 2 x 1 inch L-shaped repaired tear in the background at the upper left quadrant, with a corresponding area of inpaint around it and patch on the reverse. There is a 1 inch area of restoration in the background at the upper center. Inpaint in the edge of the curtain running into the sky at the upper right quadrant. The left inner edge of the sitter's vest has restoration. There is no further restoration visible under Uv light.
