Katherine Fitzgerald, Countess of Desmond (ca. 1504-1604), was an Anglo-Irish noblewoman noted for her longevity, which was given in various accounts as 100, 114 and 140. She is said to have died as the result of a fall from a tree.

Glue relined. Dense old arnish layer allows little to be seen under UV light. Some shadows and contours appear to been reinforced.
