Oh do drop me a hint on the enclosed card" and with Updike's musings on the question, "Do men hate women?", with a postcard bearing Updike's address with two holograph annotations on verso, with a 1-page A.L.S. postcard thanking Jong for being a reader and complaining about book promotion tours, and with an envelope addressed by Updike to Jong, all laid in. 7 7/8 x 4 3/4 inches (20.25 x 11.75 cm).
