A Plan of Mr. James Blanchard's Ground at Corlear's Hook... Manuscript survey in ink on paper, with a note certifying this as an exact copy of his own 1786 map made in 1787 by Casimir Goerck above "Copied Nov 22nd 1830 by E. Smith" in ink at lower right. 13 x 20 inches (33 x 50 cm). Dust soiling, later pencil markings within the image.
This plan shows a stretch of Crown Point Street, later Water Street, along the East River, with water shown around the wharf at the end of Scammel Street. Parallel to Scammel Street is a long Rope Walk.
