Full limp pigskin with wallet, housed in a fine red silk clamshell case. 7 x 4 1/2 inches (18 x 11 cm); 16 pp. on thick card comprising the manuscript title, 14 leaves of samples of colors, yarns, hackles, etc., mounted to the recto and verso of the cards, all hand-captioned, and a manuscript index at end. Fine overall.

A scarce privately issued work of great quality, thought to be prepared in no more than 12 copies. We trace just one copy of the 1965 issue at auction which appears to be the same assembly as copies dated 1966, although the title recorded differently. Bruns L-75.
