Rare Fabergé Gold and Guilloché Enamel Button Loop

The tapering cylindrical handle enameled in translucent white over an engine-turned ground, with moonstone finial, with a gold loop. Length 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm).
A nearly identical button loop (identified as a spatula), which was presented to Queen Mary by the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, is held in The Royal Collection of Fabergé (RCIN 40115). In good condition. Light surface wear from use. Small area on end of handle (measuring approximately 1 cm long by 0.2 cm wide) with unevenness to surface of enamel, possibly indicating minor restoration. The area is barely visible to the naked eye but can be felt with a finger tip.
