18 kt., 7 collet-set old-mine and old European-cut diamonds ap. .70 ct., 9 rectangular-cut and 6 oval cabochon rubies, 5 small single-cut diamonds, interior with mirror, three covered compartments, detachable comb, lipstick case, lighter and powder compact, signed Ostertag, Paris, Dépose, with maker's marks and French assay marks, one case missing from inside of covered compartment, hinge holder loose, c. 1940, ap. 496.5 dwts. gross. 6 3/4 x 3 15/16 x 13/16 inches. With fitted black suede carrying case with straps.

Several dings to outer and inner, scratches to metal, one case missing from interior, holder loose, comb missing few tines.
Rubies: bright medium pinkish-red, cleanish to slightly included, not visible to eye.
Diamonds: H-I-SI.
Size with carrying case 7 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 1 1/4 inches. Length of straps 6 and 12 inches.
