A group of six leaves extracted from medieval and early modern antiphonals. European: probably 15th to 18th centuries. Five on vellum and one on paper, some with decorative capitals in red and blue inks, one with a gilt capital, one leaf from an antiphonal's index. The largest measures 23 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches (59 x 39.5 cm). Wear commensurate with age, including rubbing, toning, soiling, small losses, creases and folds; Together with: DUMAS, MARY after JULES COTTIN. [Manuscript Copybook] Mandoline: Une Lecon de Mandoline. France: circa 1900. Blue thin card wrappers in brown paper dustwrapper, manuscript title in ink to front wrapper.
