bound with Historiae Naturalis. De Exangibus Aquaticus. Libri IV. Tabulis Viginti ab illo Celeberrimo Mathia Meriano aeri incisis ornati ex scriptoribus tam antiquis, quam recentioribus. Heilbronn: Franciscus Josephus Eckebrecht, 1767. Period catspaw calf, all edges red. 14 1/2 x 8 5/8 inches (37 x 22 cm); 228, 78 pp.; 47 and 20 engraved plates by Merian respectively. Light wear to binding, a few small areas of surface worming, occasional toning internally, discreetly restored at head and foot of spine, in all a clean copy.
