The Alan and Marion Oliner Collection of Art
A special section of the sale is devoted to works from the Collection of Alan and Marion Oliner. Alan and Marion Oliner embarked on their collecting journey in the 1960s, and over the next three decades they assembled a meticulously curated collection of intimate drawings and watercolors by 19th and 20th century masters.

Represented are exceptional examples by prominent artists of each artistic movement, from the formidable Eugene Delacroix, Honore Daumier and Jean Francois Millet to the masters of the Barbizon School, Theodore Rousseau and Henri Joseph Harpignies. The works progress through Impressionism and Post-Impressionism with Camille Pissarro, Paul Gauguin and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and continue into the Nabis group with Edouard Vuillard, Pierre Bonnard and Paul Sérusier. The collection also features Symbolist artist Odilon Redon, Pointillist Paul Signac, and extends into the 20th century with Fauvists and Modernists, including André Derain, Albert Marquet, Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigliani and Jacques Lipchitz.
