DOYLE is pleased to present a series of auctions in support of Turkish Philanthropy Funds, a 501-c non-profit organization based in the US. The series brings together artworks by renowned Turkish Modernist and Contemporary artists who have played an important role in the development of the unique Turkish artistic canon that emerged following the establishment of the Turkish Republic. Launching in June 2026 and continuing through December 2026, the auctions will include works by more than 25 artists, including Fikret Mualla, Nuri Iyem, Oya Zaim Katoglu, among others.
Proceeds from these auctions will support the Sena Eken-Schieber Economics Award at Turkish Philanthropy Funds, a scholarship established to empower outstanding female students from Türkiye to pursue graduate studies in economics at leading universities in the United States. The pieces featured in these auctions have been generously donated by George Schieber, whose continued commitment honors Sena Eken-Schieber’s legacy by investing in the next generation of women leaders in economics.
The Sena Eken-Schieber Economics Award was established in 2015 to support exceptional female students specializing in economics as they advance to top-tier graduate programs in the U.S. Beyond financial support, the award recognizes academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to advancing economic thought and practice. To date, the program has supported a growing network of scholars who are shaping the future of the field.
Turkish Philanthropy Funds is a U.S.-based community foundation dedicated to connecting donors with high-impact philanthropic opportunities in Türkiye, the United States, and beyond. Through its donor-advised funds, scholarship programs, and strategic partnerships, TPF mobilizes resources to advance education, gender equity, and social development—ensuring that generosity translates into meaningful, measurable impact.
