Highlighting the sale were two Roman mosaic panels that far surpassed expectations. A rectangular mosaic panel of a garland and fish dating from the 2nd-3rd century AD achieved $44,800, more than doubling its $15,000-20,000 estimate. A square mosaic pattern with a geometric design from the 2nd-4th century AD realized $25,600, well over its estimate of $12,000-18,000.
