Additional Notes & Condition Report
all of the glass elements appear to be in good, undamaged condition, including the demilune top, cactus leaves, etc., i.e., no apparent chips, breaks, losses, etc.; there are a few light superficial scratches to the top, commensurate with careful use; the bottom element of the console is made out of a type of acrylic and the acrylic element does have a number of cracks to it, which appear to originate, for the most part, in the areas where it has been drilled for the screws to pass through (see images); the table can be assembled in its current state; it appears to be stable and safe; the stability might possibly be enhanced by the addition of a thin metal plate being adhered to the top layer of the acrylic element, cut out with drill holes to allow the screws to also pass through it; alternatively, if a replacement acrylic element is desired, perhaps this part is still being manufactured by Lalique and may be available for purchase; for wall installation purposes, our gallery used a thin wood plank between the chromed metal backplate that comes with the console and our gallery wall
