Cast from a model by Georges Flamand, circa 1900
Of oval tray form, with pierced handles, incorporating a portrait relief of a maiden in side profile with a quill pen, raised 'jeweled' inkwell and two short shallow recesses, inscribed G. Flamand. Length 21 inches, width 12 1/8 inches.
