KPM Porcelain Plaque Achieves $25,200 as Sale Total Far Surpasses Expectations!

With competitive bidding, the March 30 sale totaled a successful $600,033, far surpassing the pre-sale estimate of $267,730-410,420, with an exceptional 93% sold by lots and 100% sold by value.
Among the top lots was a group of painted porcelain plaques by KPM and Meissen that performed far beyond expectations. Highlighting the group was a marvelous KPM example depicting the Entry of Emperor Charles V into Antwerp in 1520 that soared over its $4,000-6,000 estimate to achieve a stunning $25,200.
