[MASSACHUSETTS] Group of three 18th century broadsides.
Comprises Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In the house of Representatives, March 10, 1781. Boston: Printed by Benjamin Edes and Sons, 1781. 19 1/4 x 7 3/4 inches (49 x 19.5 cm); broadside. Old folds. Near fine; [Harvard Commencement, 1795]. Illustrissimo Samuel Adams, Armigero LL.D. Gubernatorii... Boston: Hall and Nancrede, 1795. 23 x 18 1/8 inches (58 x 46 cm); broadside. Foxed, two small losses on folds just affecting text.; and Order of Procession for the Late Governor Sumner. [s.l.: s.n., 1799, per Library of Congress]. 17 1/8 x 9 inches 944 x 23 cm); broadside, with cut of casket. Losses, including small sections of text, on central fold; verso with a manuscript notation of the hymn sung at the funeral.

The Harvard broadside gives the names of the graduating students, and the theses for disputation. The broadside was printed at the expense of the graduating class.
