Mid 18th century, unmarked, probably Bow
Modeled as the Commedia dell'arte figure Scaramouche, seated, wearing a black snood with bright blue band, long yellow vest and floral breeches, playing a guitar, the tree-stump base applied with flower and foliage. Height 5 7/8 inches.
