Louis XV Tan Suede-Upholstered Painted Fauteuil à la Reine
By Louis Charles Carpentier, third quarter 18th century
The padded back, seat and arms within a molded frame carved with flowerheads, scrolls and foliage, raised on cabriole legs; the backrail stamped L. C. CARPENTIER. Height 35 1/2 (90.2 cm), width 27 inches (68.6 cm), depth 20 inches (54.8 cm).
