Etching, circa 1635, on laid paper, a good impression of New Hollstein's first state of three, with thread margins at top, thread margins or trimmed to or within the platemark on three sides, unframed.

Pale lightstain, affixed with tape along left sheet edge verso to support sheet, some old hinge residue and discoloration at left sheet edge verso, minor printer's ink or soiling and a few unobtrusive small foxing spots, a chevron-shaped repaired tear in the image top right, a tiny nick at right sheet edge.
