Centering one cushion-shaped sapphire ap. 11.50 cts., with flares ribbons of calibré French-cut sapphires, and openwork curved frames of 62 old-mine and single-cut diamonds ap. 2.15 cts., circa 1930, ap. 11 dwts.
With Gubelin report no. 21112002 stating country of origin undetermined, with no indications of heating.

Sapphire: medium deep slightly violetish blue, several crystal and feather inclusions, crosshatched silk in center, slightly uneven rectangular cushion-shape, lively.
Sapphires: medium to medium deep slightly violetish blue to blue, slightly to moderately included, slightly abraded crown facets.
Diamonds: J-K-SI-Imperfect, several with surface-reaching cavities.
2 x 1 inch. Frame underside with floral detail.
